DIY makeup remover pads

These makeup remover pads will remove all your makeup, benefit your skin with the ingredients, and will leave you feeling fresh. You can make this DIY with ingredients that you already have at home.

What you will need:

  • Wide mouth jar or container
  • Cotton pads
  • 1/4 cup rose water
  • 1/4 cup witch hazel
  • 1/4 cup oil (coconut oil or baby oil)
  • 1/4 cup micellar water
  • 8-10 drops tea tree oil (optional)
  • 6-8 drops lavander oil (optional)


  • Add all the ingredients into the jar.
  • Mix well, then add cotton pads in the mixture.
  • Press the cotton pads down to help absorb the mixture.
  • Keep in a dry, cool place.

Rose water has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of irritated skin and get rid of acne.

Witch hazel acts as an astringent to help shrink the pores, soothe the skin and reduce inflammation.

Baby oil has a lot of vitamins and minerals that are great for skin. These nutrients are proven to help with healing scrapes and healing cuts and scars.

Coconut oil is composed primarily of nourishing fatty acids and is specially high in lauric acid. It also contains vitamin E witch help to make the skin smooth.

Micellar water is highly effective at removing dirt and makeup to help clear out pores while toning the skin.

Tea tree oil helps in treating acne because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It calm redness, swelling, and reduce acne scars while leaving you with smooth, clear skin.

Lavender oil is great for the skin because of it’s so calming, gentle, and nourishing. It can reduce the appearance of blemishes and give the skin a youthful glow.
